Walls can be so much more than room dividers and art collectors; they offer fabulous resources for storage. It’s been said if you lack floor space, go up. Use the walls as storage.
The good news is shelving need not be boring. From the simple wood shelf, to the artistic disjointed box, shelving can add a bit of interest to the otherwise dull wall while offering you an opportunity to store your books, kids’ toys, photos or other things.
Having a small home myself, I am always on the hunt for interesting shelving to expand my storage options.
